euro 2008

arrggh. i've been so consumed with work lately. went to work at 8, came back at 12 midnite almost everyday for the past two weeks. crazy eh? it's even crazier that i have yet to watch live telecast of a euro 2008 football match in full!

anyhow, it's already at quarter final stage now, and my pick for the tournament is spain. this is based on their impressive line up of great footballers. with david villa and torres up front, supported by creative midfielders like xavi, iniesta, fabregas and silva, this team has the making of a champion.

line up for the quarter finals:
portugal vs germany
croatia vs turkey
holland vs russia
spain vs italy
