a different kind of double...

it was a beautiful occasion in moscow. the game was great and full of dramas (scholes bleeding nose, drogba's red card, giggs' man utd appearance record, etc etc). at full time, both teams were locked at 1-1 courtesy of yet another goal from ronaldo and lampard respectively. eventually it took a penalty-shootout to decide the winner. russian roulette. kinda fitting with the location of the match.

in the end, fate played it's role and man utd is the europe champions once again when we won the penalty 6-5. it is a first time in the epl era that this kind of 'double': premiership and champions league titles are won by any english team. and please to note that for all the money spent by chelsea, they only managed to secure triple 2nd place finishes in epl, champions league and league cup. hehehe. not the kind of record that anyone wishes!

back to where they belong...

ok wanna sleep now. hopefully i can wake up in time for work, if not, then who cares? we just won the champions league!!!

glory glory man utd!
