today i joined kgrp's monthly medal golf tournament. it felt good to be able to play in one after so long. since i don't have an official handicap yet (bila laa nak amik handicap test ni?), i used handicap-24 as usual. the good thing about playing in a tournament is that it offers a more challenging environment because the hole locations are much harder. plus the rules must be adhered to at all times. so takleh laa nak tipu2 beb! and that's excluding the pressure of playing in the same flight with someone that you don't know. kalau kena yang suka psycho, boleh jadi gila ooii...
i played quite ok today. started with a birdie, followed by a par... pergh, macam pro pulak. but later on i was brought back down to earth with consecutives double bogeys..hahaha. in the end, i managed a total of 95 strokes. total score is 71(total strokes minus handicap, i.e. 95-24=71).
and that's what we call "shooting one under par 72..."
