malaysia vs chelsea

my little brother and i attended the malaysia vs chelsea football match, held at shah alam stadium last tuesday. he got two free tickets worth rm103 each thru maxis sms contest. not bad eh?

entering the stadium, i can felt which team had the most support. the stand was filled with the blues loyal fans, and they cheered the team from the moment all their megastars entered the pitch for warm up session. there were also supporters for our national team (i'm one of them, of course), enough to make the stadium go loud everytime the team in yellow took a shot at goal, made a tackle or created cool passing sequence.

the game itself was good. although i got the feeling that chelsea didn't go pass the third gear, there were enough moments throughout the game to keep me entertained. to my surprise, it was malaysia who took the first shot at goal. but soon after chelsea got into their rhythm, the difference in class between both teams was apparent. in the end, goals by ashley cole and anelka made it 2-0 to chelsea. ok laa tu...

a day earlier, i had the chance to see most of the chelsea squad in person.they stayed at the palace of golden horses hotel. i was there attending a technical training. just my luck i guess. hehehe. apparently this hotel had hosted international teams like brazil, man u, australian swimming team, etc etc before. now i know where to find the international team if any of them ever come to malaysia in the future. oh lupa lak, i got to shake hand with lampard! terpaku aku bila dia salam. hampir ter-convert jadi chelsea suppoter. isk isk isk.
